Set in the expanse of space, "Orbital Overflow" is a top-down strategy game where players juggle tetris-like cargo blocks within a space station, transfering blocks to and from spacecraft that periodiclly dock with the station.

Orbital Overflow was a solo project for Ludum Dare 54, and also marks my first attempt at 3D modelling in Blender. Unfortunately last minute game breaking bugs prevented it from being submitted to Ludum Dare.

I'm happy with how the game turned out, however there are things I would change to provide a more balanced game experience.

Given another iteration, I'd reduce the size of the station and ships, compelling players to strategize their cargo placements, and trimming down player movement between dockings. Adjusting the pacing of incoming deliveries would also improve its balance.
